Delving into the fascinating chemistry behind flavour origination in whisky, this standalone online module will help you to unlock some of the flavour secrets within your favourite drams.

Working through a series of short interactive exercises and pop quizzes, you’ll get to know your lipids from your lignins and learn how to attach key flavours to the part of the process in which they are likely to have developed.

As well as a certificate of completion, you’ll come away equipped with a downloadable flavour wheel, a flavour map and a fresh appreciation of how raw materials, differing production processes and maturation can all contribute to the immense variety of flavour profiles found within single malt Scotch whisky.
